Pick a language pair
Open the Translator tab in the NoteMeeting panel and choose your language and your counterpart's. The default is English ↔ Vietnamese; any other pair, such as English ↔ Japanese or Spanish ↔ German, works too.

Press START and talk normally
Finish your sentence (or press Enter to close it in a noisy room). Voice Translator translates it and plays the target-language AI voice into the meeting about 1.5–2 seconds later.

They hear their own language
Your counterpart hears the translation like another participant speaking, with no extension or account. When they reply, you hear it back in your language.

Which languages does Voice Translator support?

NoteMeeting Voice Translator supports 10 languages: English, Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Thai and Indonesian. You can pair any two of them, for example English ↔ Japanese or Spanish ↔ German. English ↔ Vietnamese is the default and the most fine-tuned pair.
How fast is the voice translation?

On average about 1.5–2 seconds from the end of your sentence until the other side hears the translation. Sentences longer than 10 words can take 2–3 seconds. Voice Translator works sentence by sentence, so short, clear sentences translate faster and more accurately.
Does the other person need to install anything?

No. Only one person in the meeting needs NoteMeeting with Voice Translator on. The other side hears the translation as an AI voice played into the call, with no extension or account.
Is real-time voice translation free?

No. The NoteMeeting free trial (1 hour of audio) covers transcripts and summaries only, not Voice Translator. Voice Translator is on Pro ($22/month, unlimited translation minutes) and Teams ($55/month, 400 translation minutes per month).
Does it work with the Zoom desktop app?

Yes. For the installed Zoom app, use the NoteMeeting Desktop App (Pro and above) for two-way voice translation. The Chrome Extension works on Google Meet, Zoom on the web and Microsoft Teams on the web.
Does the translated voice sound like me?

Not yet. The translation uses a default AI voice (male or female) for the target language. Voice cloning that keeps your own voice is in development and planned for late 2026.
Is it suitable for legal or contract negotiations?

For sales calls, project meetings and training, Voice Translator is enough. For high-value contract negotiations or legal content, bring a human interpreter to check every detail, because machine translation can still miss nuance or terminology.
